Reviews of Natalie Kim in her comedic solo show YO GIRL!  Off-Broadway and the International Edinburgh Fringe Festival:

"Add in some music, poetry and a few dance moves, and you get a great show about the life and loves of a city girl with a difference."

"Natalie Kim is dynamic and funny solo performer, and her account of life as a Korean adoptee navigating her way through an American upbringing is warm and even inspirational." -- Courtney Chloe- Three Weeks

"Although she embraces the Korean culture her birthright has bestowed, it is clear that Kim's heart is firmly set in New York. A good thing, too - it is her playful, buoyant spirit and the American gloss of self-deprecating humour that makes this production especially fun." -- Jennifer Blythe - The List

"Kim is a joy to watch. We delightfully spin along with her as she eventually rediscovers the place of her own heart, finally finding a home there, at the same time welcoming us in. It's a beautiful work of personal storytelling and the search for identity and belonging" -- Dana Lang - Off Off Online

Her deftly performed narrative explored her identity as a Korean adoptee, and how that identity was shaped by her relationship with her three moms -- her adoptive mom, her stepmom (after her parents divorced and remarried), and her birth mom -- and it was hilarious, gripping and heartfelt.

Her show show just returned from a celebrated run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and with any luck the new remix will get a fresh production here Stateside sometime soon -- it deserves to be seen, a lot.  --  Jeff Yang, SFgate.com
